My goal in ear training and theory is to train thoughtful musicians who "hear everything" through work on listening exercises, analysis, conventional notation practices, and solfège, as well as investigating real pieces to see how the theory in action.
Competency in these skills develops over time, and consistency is encouraged for these lessons. Although I don't teach directly to a test, for students later pursuing music theory in an academic setting, these lessons will equip you with skills for the AP Music Theory exam and college-level music study.
