Student expectations
Students are expected to fully participate and be present during class. As singing is a foundation of ear training, students should expect to sing frequently during class as a group or on mute. There will be times where a student will be asked to prepare a sight singing example in advance and sing it for the class.
Students who are new to singing should understand this may be difficult, but should not be intimidated! Every pro musician goes through this process at some point in their life, and since I always aim to foster a positive and supportive learning environment for all, we'll work on the quality of your musicianship and ear training, without judgment on your voice itself (although I'll give pointers to beginners to help you out!).
